Narragansett 2100 philanthropy committee member, donation to the Community Market
Narragansett 2100 recently continued its tradition of community giving with a donation to the Community Market at St. Peter’s by the Sea Episcopal Church. Philanthropy committee member John Hartley presented a $500 check to help support the market’s ongoing mission of providing food and essential items to local residents in need. The Community Market serves as an important resource for individuals and families facing food insecurity, offering a welcoming space where neighbors can access nutritious staples with dignity. Throughout the year, Narragansett 2100 partners with the organization in additional ways as well, including support for food drives organized by University of Rhode Island students during the holiday season and at the end of each semester. The continued collaboration highlights the shared commitment to caring for vulnerable members of the community and ensuring that no one goes without basic necessities.
